Project: Development work for 8DAO’s first DAO incubation project: FrenArt

TLDR:

8DAO is incubating a DAO for a community of generative art collectors and require development support from LX DAO.  Development work include design and creation of website and smart contract for the goverance token of the DAO

Timeline: Mid-March launch of FrenArt

Description:

FrenArt will be based on an Art Block Project called Friendship Bracelet: https://opensea.io/collection/friendship-bracelets-by-alexis-andre

The objective of the DAO is Friendship building through generative art.  The co-creation process between the Art Blocks team and collectors started on mint date. This journey didn’t stop there. It continues as holder community try to bring the project value to the next stage. Every bracelet is a seed of friendship building. Every bracelet holder is helping to spread the seeds to a bigger world. FrenArt is a friendship bracelet DAO promotes friendship between the east and west through generative art. It brings in culture diversity to the space.

FrenArt takes inspiration from two DAOs:

1. SquiggleDAO (https://www.squiggledao.com/)
2. NounsDAO (https://nouns.wtf/)

As LX DAO we are supporting on the following tasks:

1. Whitelisting of genesis members for FrenArt
2. Design and development of FrenArt website
3. Development of smart contract for Governance token NFT for FrenArt

Project Details:

Whitelisting of genesis members for FrenArt (phase 1 and phase 2)

• For phase 1, we are looking to start with 50-100 members. There will be an application process for it
• Application form will require:
  • Name
  • Email
  • Twitter
  • Wallet address
  • referrer
  • How many friendshipsbracelet NFT (FB) willing to contribute
  • How can you contribute to FrenArt community
• DAO leaders will decide who to extend the invitation to and invite them as whitelisted to “swap” their FB for the FrenArt governance NFT for phase 1 of genesis members
• Phase 2 will happen after 3months of launch with similar procedure
